years; most of them make their efforts to attract audience and customers with

formal one? There are six types of restaurants below which are divided according
to several categories.

It means dining service is fast. People
often think that most food of this kind of restaurant is fried or unhealthy one,
such as KFC or McDonald’s. But in recent years, the industries of fast food
restaurant alter their policy and begin to sell more diverse and healthier
food. For instance: salad, fruit, soup and so on. They even develop

Fast Casual
It is one of the popular form of restaurant. It is more expensive
than that of fast food restaurant. What’s more, it provides disposable dishes
and flatware with customers whereas their food tends to be presented as more

America. The most famous dish is Chipotle. Compared to McDonald’s, the

of customers becomes faster.
Family Style
Family style dining, also known as casual style dining, offering
moderate and reasonable price for the public. It also can be divided into
several types according to the style or theme of dish: Japanese, Korean, Thai,
Italian, French and so on. Besides, family style restaurant offers table side
service, non-disposable dishes.
Café or Bistro
Café restaurant not only just sells coffee, but also sells beverage,
light meal, salad, sandwich, baked goods and on forth. In addition, it does not
offer table service. People order the food at the counter then serve on their
own. Café restaurant is famous for its relaxed atmosphere, and some people even
can kill their time the whole afternoon. As for bistro, it is similar to café restaurant
to some degrees. It originates from France, which offers simple food with low
price. Its dish includes beef stew or ratatouille, even entire meals.
Food Court
Food court, also called as Food Square. It is usually located in the
department stores, shopping malls or airports. Food court contains various and
different food. The most obvious characteristic of food court is that it has
public space people can have their meal. After ordering the meal, people take
their meal to the seats they choose in the public space.
Food Truck
A popular form of food fashion is mobile food truck restaurant. The
advantage of mobile food truck restaurant is low cost and low overhead. Thus,
many young people can open a new restaurant easily by this. The benefit of it
contains the convenience to go everywhere people are crowed. However, this
business requires a lot of workload due to its fewer members, and needs to pay
attention, especially when the peak of the meal time.

menu, decoration, scale, discount in order to attract more customers to
patronize. Each restaurant makes the efforts to achieve their attempts. They
even have the featured product whose fame spreads through all lanes and
